This course is open to the general public and first responders who want to respond to a cardiac emergency.
This course teaches the lifesaving skills of 1- rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation and relief of choking in adults (with an option to include child and infants A+) along with barrier device/pocket mask use, and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. Participants learn to recognize and treat emergencies such as cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke, and choking.
Materials required: Heart Saver/AED Student Manual
To receive a Heart Saver/AED certification card, students must pass a skills test.
