The course is intended for those in the healthcare field who require or are interested in knowledge of advanced acute cardiac care and resuscitation.
This course introduces advanced health care practitioners to diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for the acute cardiac patient through case based learning.

Prerequisites:
Successful completion of the HSF BLS for Healthcare Provider (C) provider status dated within 12 months prior to the ACLS provider course. Must be familiar with rhythm interpretation and basic resuscitation pharmacology.
